Welcome to St James Muthill Episcopal Church. We are a historic church that seeks to marry the best of tradition with contemporary applications of the Christian faith. We also strive to be part of wider Muthill and Strathearn society.

OUR HISTORY

From Bonnie Prince Charlie, caldestine christenings, a Moroccan Sultan's wife, and hardworking Victorian clergy who laboured to educate Muthill's youth, St James has a rich and stimulating history.

Join us for our weekly worship services. We welcome all to come and share in the joy of worshipping God and enjoying fellowship within a Christian community. Our services follow the Scottish Liturgy of 1982

ABOUT US

St James is the oldest Episcopal church in Strathearn. Taking the place of Episcopal meeting houses that stood since 1698, St James was built in 1836 by R & R Dickson of Glasgow and has been a site of continuous worship ever since.
